Ortega Falls: 1.19.18

Ortega Falls is but one of many hikes in speckled throughout this area. This hike got interrupted the day we went. As we were crawling between some rocks where some falls may have once been (of which you will see in the pictures), but were since adorned with unflattering graffiti. Towards the top of this location, which was about a mile or mile and a half into the hike, there were two other hikers with dogs that were running around everywhere, making it more than difficult, bordering on dangerous, to hike. There were narrow paths and necessary climbing and the dogs and the presence of their unruly and disrespectful owners cut our hike short. Their disrespect for other hikers aside, they were making it challenging to have a pleasant hike. We turned back. If we hike this again, I shall put up an updated post.
