I visited the Parliament Building, Westminister Abbey, St. James Park, Westminister Cathedral, and Buckingham Palace. All the royal parks were so green and lavish—nothing like the states. In the states, parks are somewhere to drop your kids to teach them socialization and get them out of the house. In London, the parks are a place to enjoy nature and be reminded of the royalty.
I ate at Bistro St. It was good, but I have had better. I had the salmon. Everything here is EXPENSIVE! I took the bus to and from the hotel to the Gatwick Airport five times and it cost 60 pounds (about $120 USD)—major rip. The sad thing was that taking a taxi would have been more expensive (25 pounds each way).
